The Excelsior in Blue Unisex Baseball Cap

Named in honour of the Brooklyn Excelsiors, whose distinctive 1860 cap is widely regarded as the precursor to the modern baseball cap, the Excelsior is our take on one of sportswear's most enduring designs.

Made in Portugal from 100% cotton and finished with a leather backstrap and our own felt IE monogram, it is designed with shape as the priority. A ball cap can be made from the finest materials in the world, but if the profile is wrong, it simply does not work. No corners were cut.

Like so many great pieces of sportswear, the ball cap began with a practical purpose before becoming something much bigger. The Excelsior captures that spirit, drawing on the ball caps of the 1970s for a look that feels every bit as relevant today.
