Koivu – benannt nach Mikko Koivu, der finnischen Eishockeylegende, die Minnesota auf dem Eis zum Leuchten brachte. Inspiriert von den Eishockeygrößen von einst – Orr und Koivu – und als Anspielung auf die Balboa-Farbkombinationen, die er in den ersten drei Filmen trug, ist Koivu eine Hommage an alle Vintage-Sportarten.
